Registration/Sign up
Register (i.e. create user)
Go to homepage
Click on Sign Up link
Fill the form
Accept Privacy agreement
Click on Sign Up button below the form
Try to Log In without clicking on activation link (should fail) Before clicking on activation link in email, the account is disabled. Try to log in. Client should show an error message with an explanation what happened.
Click on activation link in the received email
A page with text Account is now activated should be shown
Try to Log In (should succeed)
Recover forgotten password
Under the Log In form, click on Forgot your password? link
Fill your email and press Recover
You should receive an email with recover link
Open the link from email and enter a new password
Try to Log In with old password (should fail)
Try to Log In with new password (should succeed)
You need to be logged in as user with Administrator privileges to perform these tasks.
Press Users from the left menu
For creating a new user press Create User, for editing existing user press the edit icon in the row with that user
Fill in the form in way you want
Press Save button under the form
Press Users from the left menu
Find user that you want to remove
Press the recycle bin icon in the row with that user
Modal window will pop-up, press Delete
Press Organization from the left menu
Edit name of the organization and its ID respectively Newly created KMs will use this organization ID
Press Save button
You need to be logged in as user with Data Steward (or higher) privileges to perform these tasks.
You need to have some valid .km
file to import to perform this task.
Press KM Packages from the left menu
Press Import button
Drag & drop or select the file after pressing Choose file - some random invalid file
You should get an error, because it is not valid file
Repeat step 3 but with a valid .km
file
It should import and redirect to table with KM packages
Try to import the same file again, you will get error that the package already exists
Press KM Editor from the left menu
Press Create button
Fill in name and ID of the new knowledge model respectively
Press Save button
Change the name of the knowledge model
(For example) Add chapter with two questions with your own texts:
First question with options Yes, No, Not sure
For Yes add follow-up question with String type
For Not sure fill some advice
Setup metrics for those two answers (for example, Yes can be 1 for Findability and No can be 0)
Add some references for the first question (you can pick if URL, cross reference, or resource page)
Second question with List of items type
Change the desirability phase of the question
Go back by pressing Done until you get to Save button.
Press Save button when all changes are done.
Press Publish in actions of your KM editor
Fill in version and describe the changes you made
Press Publish
(Press KM Editor from the left menu)
Press Create button
Fill in name and ID of the new knowledge model respectively
Select Parent Package
(the best is to select the one created in the previous scenario)
Press Save button
Edit existing chapter - change its text and add some new question, edit question, add reference, delete option
Add new chapter with question(s) of your choice
Press Done button and then Save button when all changes are done
Press Publish button in actions of your KM editor
Fill in version and describe the changes you made
Press Publish button
(Press “KM Editor” from the left menu)
Find the row with editor for the KM used as parent in the previous scenario and click the edit icon in actions
Add new chapter and edit existing chapter (e.g., add some follow-up question and expert)
Press Done button and then Save button when all changes are done
Press Publish button in actions of your KM editor
Fill in new (higher) version and describe the changes you made
Press Publish button
(Press KM Editor from the left menu)
Find row with the customization you made, it should be marked as Outdated
Press Upgrade button to enter migration tool
Go through the migration steps by using Accept and Reject buttons
After finishing, press Publish button
Press KM Packages from the left menu
Select a KM package of your choice and press View detail action
For version of your choice, press Export button
A .km
file will be downloaded
You need to be logged in as user with Researcher (or higher) privileges to perform these tasks.
Press DS Planner from the left menu
Press Create button
Fill in name and select KM package that you want to use
The planner with name should be visible in the table
(Press DS Planner from the left menu)
Press Fill questionnaire in actions of DS Planner of your choice
Go through chapters and questions and fill in answers based on a project you are working on currently
When done, press Save button
(Press DS Planner from the left menu)
Press Export and select format you want to get
Download should start, when it finishes open and explore the file
